Came here for an outdoor concert. Groups play from the back patio overlooking a tremendous lawn. Bring your lawn chairs and food. Check the New Canaan town website for their summer park concert schedule.
Great park amazing views, dog park, trails, and so much more and also not restricted to residents only which makes it ideal for gathering for hikes and bike rides for people from nearby neighborhoods. if you are reading this review and plan to go to the park because of it, remember to keep it clean, do not abuse it, be nice and courteous to everyone so they keep it open for everyone enjoyment.
It is a very large park with both wooded and open spaces. Popular for dog - walking, jogging, and kite flying. There are a large open air swimming pool and other sports facilities. It is also home to the Carriage Barn, a wonderful centre for graphic arts.
